Ottakathalamedu viewpoint Tekkady – located in Kerala State of India which is known for its landscapes, waterfalls, lakes. In Tekkady our travel agency driver took us around and to see some of the local attractions around Tekkady, our car cannot go to all the tourist spots as some of them are in hill top areas, so we had to hire a separate jeep which regularly takes tourists to those places one of which is the Ottakathalamedu viewpoint Tekkady, which offers great view of the hills, valleys.
Ottakathalamedu viewpoint Tekkady – We took a local jeep to go around Tekkady country side and also some places of interest. We had to go through villages, forest to reach Ottakathalamedu. The routes are narrow and also rough roads. Finally we reached the point and the place is very lonely and it is always better to go in a group and also make sure that you stay distance as there is no protection around the view point and if one ventures in to go to the end it is very dangerous as down you will see deep valley. We spent some time there and took some snaps and came back as we had another programme in the evening which is Kadathanadan Kalari Center.
From the viewpoint, you can witness the green tea plantations,mist around mountains looks foggy. The sight of the sunrise and sunset from Ottakathalamedu is truly beautiful.
