My nephew and cousin(s) used to stay in a house in Mehandipatna in Hyderabad. Since i was new to the place, though may have visited few times earlier this time the visit was to stay in Hyderabad, i decided to stay with my relatives, though i was bit uncomfortable because staying for few days and staying for long period makes much difference. Anyway i moved there and since they are also bachelors after few days i could manage to be comfortable myself.
We used to cook on our own everyday for dinner as for breakfast and lunch since we were going to work, we used to take food there near the office surroundings. Also since all three of us work in different offices, all used to go separately. For breakfast I used to an Irani hotel near to my house and on way to Mehandipatna bus stop. My cousin Kishore’s brothers both Murali and Prakash were very friendly and helpful. They were also working in Patancheru area which is bit distance from Mehandipatna.
For lunch some staff family not in Hyderabad hence we used to get lunch from nearby shops and at times go on our own and have lunch in the nearby restaurants.
I used to travel back home in Bhubaneswar every two months for few days, if there were some holidays also used to take advantage of that and used to visit family.
After few months i started looking for a small house nearer to the office which is in Panjagutta area as I have to bring my family as I decided to continue working with the organisation for longer period. I took a house near Masab tank which is in between Mehadipatna and Panjagutta. I took a house in the first floor and the owner is an old man and they seem to be occupying the area for ages and they are not employees or well educated.
Since i was alone with support from my nephew Raja we brought some minimal household goods to set the house before bringing the family. During this period Raja, my nephew, used to stay some days like a holiday or weekend. My family my small twin daughters – Soni & Moni and my son Sonu came to Hyderabad and if i remember well Mohandas bavagaru (Raja’s father) brought them to Hyderabad. While they were in Hyderabad for a holiday before moving permanently to Hyderabad.
We visited many places around and my cousin Prakash used to join us and guide us as we were new to Hyderabad surroundings. Many places we visited such as Golconda Forte, Birla Temple, Charminar, Ramoji Film City etc. After staying for sometime they left for Bhubaneswar.
