Days moving fast..and within few weeks i have become a colleague working with them for years – such was the wonderful team that we had i forgot everything about the new job and the difficulties i may have to face. When one works for an organisation for a long time that organisation itself is considered to be the beginning and end of career till retirement as we used to adjust to the work and familiariasation to the locations, projecty partners and their team, knowing their work and get me up and ask about the project number of an NGO where we used to have about two hundred NGOs – i can answer instantly – that is because i have been working for decades.
So my fears about joining a new organisation and new team fast evaporated. The work culture in the new organisation as very good. We used to play secret games. Everyday the staff need to keep some items wrapped without mentioning name or who kept on their work tables. This we used to do coming to office very early in the morning or kept before leaving the office late in the evening. When we reach our office in the morning we used to find something special and we need to guess who kept that. .this we used to do in the lunch break. It was really tough.. this is how we used to acquaint with each other and become so close..
One item still i may have with me that i received or i kept on one of the colleagues table the picture is below. In addition the usual birthdays, festivals, get togethers in each staff member houses… and of course the away from office meetings, and annual get togethers etc. one such was in Goa.. will post later…
