Pothamedu Viewpoint in Munnar: While in Munnar we could manage to visit interesting tourist places and one of which is the Pothamedu Viewpoint. As is the case with many tourist places that we visited around Munnar we had to hire a jeep as our car cannot go to the hill tops and also some cases government approved vehicles available to go. To reach this place we have to travel through small villages, narrow roads, some forest
We reached the Pothamedu view point where few other tourists were also there. One has to be very careful as there is no protection wall and below there is a very deep valley. From this spot we could see the beautiful greenery, you feel the mist covering the valley and also some houses built in the valley area. If you see towards the sky you will feel the valley has upper lid of sky. You can see a beautiful blue and white sky which looks mesmerising. We took some photographs there to remember the visit. Since it was going to be evening we decided to come back after staying for some time.
